Ade is the co founder of Restore Citizenship and serves as a deacon in the Islington fellowship. An IT professional, Ade oversees the delivery of the ministries reach strategy through Discover Citizenship and is passionate about sharing the message of kingdom citizenship.

 

A Time to Stand (Better than Egypt)

My favourite story growing up was the account of Israel in the book of Exodus. The story describes Israel's migration and their journey from slavery into citizenship. I would like to share some of my reflections on some of the narratives in the book.

Treasures from the grave

I remember taking a picture many years ago which has remained one of my personal favourites. I took the picture at Bunhill Fields, which is a burial ground for nonconformist in London. This picture was of me standing next to the grave belonging to a man called John Bunyan, many of us are familiar with his work especially the book called “The Pilgrim’s Progress” but are unaware of his pilgrimage.

Jonathan and the kingdom

David and Jonathan's relationship was birthed out of wars between the Philistines and Israel. After David killed Goliath, the bible said that "the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul." - 1 Samuel 18:1.

The Confrontation

As we look at the history of the kingdom of God we see a history drenched in the blood of the innocent. Men’s lack of understanding and their unwillingness to investigate their heritage led to them embracing falsehood and myths. From the beginning of time, human beings have sought to innovate away from God.
