Chronicles Quarter 3 2019

Welcome back to Chronicles.

In this edition, we plan to give you an insight into the recent ongoings in the community.

Christian persecution in Britain

Has this once Christian nation that provided the world with the King James Bible become a place that now persecutes the very faith that made it great?

We have to admit that the times have changed rapidly over the last decade. In one sense, we are in one of the freest nations in the world. In another, we are governed by an obsession towards everything secularism, political correctness and cancel culture. Therefore, dare anyone to go against what the mainstream media and what it’s followers want you to believe. You only have a right to freedom of speech when it does not come from a Judeo-Christian value system.

The western world now says, the Judeo-Christian faith is outdated, non-progressive and prejudice and we summon it to silence. Whoever does not follow these unspoken rules will be muted and removed from any position of influence. Many big businesses have been known to partake in this rule. There have even been instances where even banks are saying "you can't bank with us anymore."

Is this cancel culture gone mad all in the name of protecting identity culture? Or are believers overthinking everything? Should they move with the times and understand its all for the good of us all. Do we have a duty to evolve and stop holding onto past foundations in fear of the future? After all, what's wrong with fully embracing a society that manages freedom of speech, or could there possibly be another agenda?

To get a perspective on Persecution in Britain read or listen to "Protected but not Defended" by Fred, “Persecution in the West” by Esther and Pelumi’s “The Rainbow and the Swastika”.

Chronicles Quarter 2 2019

Welcome back to Chronicles, and in this edition we will take you on a journey over the last few months as the team has been quite busy.

Join the team was set up as part of our reach strategy to:

  • Raise awareness of the message of kingdom citizenship.
  • Engage with fellow believers to enhance citizenship.
  • Build citizenry into the corporate body of Christ.

Church vs Ekklesia

“And on this rock I will build my…..” When most people say Ekklesia they are referring to the modern day Church we see today or the body of Christ.

However, what if we told you that the word Church does not translate to Ekklesia and therefore carries an entirely different meaning. For some this wouldn’t matter as the true believer knows that they are part of the true Ekklesia even if they refer to it as Church and attend at least once a week, so why should this matter and what is the significance?

I can tell you now that it’s deeper than semantics its to do with purpose and function. When the Ekklesia understands its function, the world will see we are the salt of the earth. To discover the true meaning and function of the Ekklesia, join us this issue as our faithful authors bring you another message on the Kingdom of God that will transform your mind. In this edition, we can assure you that you will never look at the word Church or Ekklesia as interchangeable words again.

We have the following articles lined up for you all, “Constantine's Cathedral” by Pelumi, “Save into the Kingdom but Lost in Religion” by Frederick, Esther’s “Behold the Ekklesia” and Ade’s “A New Church”. Be sure to stop off at both our Chronicles and our blog page.
