Political correctness and denial of Christ

Political correctness is like the story of the pompous Emperor who was more concerned with fashion trends than with governing. Two fraudsters approached him claiming to possess a rare and beautiful thread. They said only those who were unfit for office or unusually stupid could not see the magical fabric when woven. The Emperor, being obsessed with fashion, thought this would be an excellent investment as it would also help him know who was wise, foolish or unfit for office in his kingdom. He commissioned the masterpiece and the fraudsters got to work pretending to weave with their invisible thread.

Citizenship for sale

Around the world we are seeing a growing number of 'economic citizens'. “Economic citizenship can be used to represent both the economic contributions requisite to become a citizen as well as the role in which ones economic standing can influence his or her rights as a citizen.” - Wikipedia

Born to govern

There once was a time when national authorities and local authorities were held in higher esteem than actors, play-writer, musicians; who were on the same level as court jesters in the eyes of the people.

Laziness vs Active Citizenship

I was going to write this article, but I can’t be bothered... Imagine if that really was the end. You would be deprived of the rest of my contribution. A lazy farmer doesn't suffer alone, his family and the wider community are also impoverished.

Communications

“The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives” ~ Anthony Robbins
